Personal Statement

I would like to attend a university where I can not only play softball, but get a good education that will help me be successful in life. I believe that my strong academic ability in hand with my athletic ability will allow me to play at a large range of academic schools. I am very mentally tough, not only from playing softball my whole life, but also from being on the varsity cross country team and pushing myself to the fullest. I will always give full effort in the classroom and on the softball field.

2014 So Cal Breakers (16U - Williams)
I joined this established team in the Fall of 2013. The Breakers organization has its own facility where EM holds sessions. My primary position on this team is 2nd Base. I have played 1B when needed and different OF positions. This team folded after PGF 2014.
2013 Power Surge (16U/18U - Klem)
I joined this established team during the Spring & Summer of 2013. We placed 4th in ASA States (16U) & Placed 1st in TCS February Frost (18U). We played in the 18U Colorado Sparkler, ASA States, ASA Nationals. Two girls from this team are currently playing for a Florida State school. At the end of summer the organization folded our team. I moved to a new position to be on this team - 2nd Base.
2012 So Cal Breakers (16U - Galley)
I played for this team in the Fall of 2012. We took 2nd in one of our last TCS tournaments. This was a newly formed team. At the end of the Fall Season the team folded. I started as a 1B on this team but quickly moved to SS.
2012 The American Athletics (14U - John Miles)
Played for this team in the Spring & Summer of 2012. We played friendlies against all of the top tiered teams in Orange County. We played TCS World Series in the Gold Bracket in San Diego and PGF. The team folded after PGF. I was a SS on this team.
2010 Black Mountain Ballers (12U/14U - Mangel)
This team began as Worth Blaze and we were together for almost two years. This was a newly formed team and all of the team eventually made Varsity their Freshman year. Placed 2nd in Bronze TCS World Series Reno, NV. Placed 2nd in AFA States and AFA Nationals. I was a P, SS, 1B on this team.
