Personal Statement

I will be a 2017 graduate of Yucaipa High School in Yucaipa, California. My goal is to get an excellent education and to be able to play collegiate softball at the same time. I have been playing softball since I was 4 years old and it has always been a big part of my life. It is even more important to me now because it was something my dad and I spent almost every weekend doing together and he suddenly passed away in February 2014; so I think of him every time I step on the dirt and I know he is proud of me for continuing to play the sport.

I am a person that is easy to coach and will try my best in everything. I've always been an excellent student and challenge myself with taking honors classes. I also like a good challenge on and off the field; I do not give up easily and will work my hardest until I achieve my goals.
