Nicole Murphy '18 Recruiting Profile

  My name is Nicole Murphy and I am a hard-working softball player. I am a determined softball player who is open to new ideas and above anything, I am willing to learn.  On my Travelball team, So Cal Athletics and my High School Varsity team at Orange Lutheran  HS,  my position is CF but I can play any out field position.  ** I am also a TRUE utility player with  confidence in first base second base third base and pitching as well as any outfield positions.**

On both teams I am a leader who is always positive on and off the field, and a leader who leads the team. 

    I aspire to be a Pediatric Anesthesiologist when I get older. I would like to major in medicine. For two years I was apart of the Health Careers Academy at Esperanza High School. I am currently at Orange Lutheran High School  for a higher academic experience.  I am apart of the National Charity League. So far in NCL, I have been the President of the class of 2018, Vice President, Historian and I am currently a National Representative. I also am a classic pianist who has been playing since I was three years old.

    On my travel team I bat right handed and I am a strong hitter who is consistent. I am the starting center fielder and I lead the outfield during our games.  As UTILITY PLAYER I can play any position including Pitcher. (I pitched for Esperanza High School until 2017) My favorite pitches to throw are my off speed, and drop curve. I am also an aggressive and quick baserunner. Above everything, I am a hard worker who is passionate for the game that I love the most.

I  recently accepted a position  as an assistant coach OC WARRIORS.  I give fielding lessons, pitching lessons to several 10u 12u players.

I also Math and English two days a week .
