Personal Statement

Sports in general are an important part of my life.  I work hard in the classroom with the same drive and enthusiasm as I do on the court and the field.  I find team sports to be my favorite and I apply much of what I learn from teammates to classmates to friends and family in my life all the time.  I am a listener.  Even though I like to talk, I feel to listen is to communicate.  I have been told I am a leader and this is something I take pride in but is something I will always work on. Committed to learn and grow as a student athlete is what I am focused on.  This is something I have felt I could do for a while now.  Applying and testing to gain admission to my private high school is something I am very proud of.  Now I am determined to work even harder to find that one college that I will fall in love with while being fortunate to play softball while studying for an advanced degree.

Lastly, my favorite position to play is really hitting or where ever you need me to play coach.
