Personal Statement
Although I may be "vertically-challenged", I make up for it by being diligent and determined as I strive to put in all my efforts through every practice and game, on and off the field. I pride myself on being the first person on the field and the last one to leave. It is a dream of mine to play at a collegiate level, as well as achieving a higher education at the college or university that suit my interests best.
By continually playing this sport, I have acquired many useful skills, such as leadership, teamwork, and communication, as well as strengthening my work ethic.
I am able to juggle my athletic life and social life while still maintaining to upkeep my grades to have AP/college level courses and make honors. When I'm not on the field, I work on various community projects along with spending my summers as a camp counselor. My biggest inspiration that drives me to continue to fuel my passion is my younger sister, whom of which I hope to be a role model to and demonstrate she to can do whatever she sets her mind to.
