My identity has been defined by my experiences and passions. I’m really privileged to have a unique background because I was raised and went through primary education (even starting "Gymnasium" - college preparation high school) in Germany, which is one experience that sets me apart as an individual who is accepting of and eager to explore the diversity present in the world. When I moved to the U.S, softball became my main passion and it helped me connect to a new culture and language by using my athletic abilities as an opportunity to form new relationships and to showcase them at a competitive level. In the future, I hope to expand my softball skills and sportsmanship to the collegiate level and from there, get an education that helps me pursue my academic goals in German and Cultural Studies as well.
