I am so excited to be a student athlete in college! I'm looking forward to having that instant family that I think my college teammates and coaches will be. I already know what I want to study (Biology). If that isn't a fit for me, I have other interests too like Dentistry and Physical Therapy. Some of these require advanced degrees, so I know I will have to keep my grades up in college. I love the feeling when someone hits me the ball and I throw them out, or when I steal a base. About a year ago, my previous travel coach switched me from a righty hitter to a slapper to take advantage of my speed. It's nice that I can now hit both ways, but in my heart I feel I'm most successful as a right handed natural power hitter, and that's the skill I intend to keep working hardest on going forward.
