Judith Tarczali '24 Recruiting Profile

From the day I was introduced to this sport, I had always had the goal to play softball competitively at the collegiate level. I have always made smaller goals for myself along the way that ensure long term success. This success is a result of consistent growth in many areas of both the game and life. Growing up I was like most kids and played almost every single sport known. Each and every time I tried something new I didn't like it. This was until I found softball. Ever since the beginning I have always had a profound love for it. Since then it has become a huge priority in my life along with things such as academics and family. 

In the classroom, I have held a GPA of a 4.0 or higher since the start of middle school while taking AP and high honors classes. Personally, I am outgoing and have a very bubbly personality however, with that being said I still have the ability to put my head down and work as hard as I need to, to achieve my goals. On the field, it has been said that I have a "bulldog mentality" meaning that no matter the situation of the game and even in times of adversity, I remain tough, full of tenacity and I focus on doing whatever I need to do to get things done. These traits and mentalities have really allowed me to grow as both a player and a person and I continue to work on those areas everyday.
