I am currently enrolled at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, Connecticut. At a young age I always liked school as well as sports. My elementary years were the starting point of my desire to always do well as I graduated with honors and graduated middle school with high honors, a presidential award, and being in the National Junior Honors Society in the eighth grade. At the age of 6, I started playing softball and from that point I realized I loved playing the game. After playing on a rec league for a couple of years I was asked to catch and the position came very easy to me. At the age of 8, I began going to Bobby Valentine Sports Academy and worked with a personal trainer to further my skills as a catcher and also working on batting and fielding. I continued playing on a rec league until I was asked to play on a 14U travel team, the Greenwich Warriors. While on the team, I was on of the team captains which was a good experience for me. From this I found I had leadership skills and along with the other captain, we did a great job in making the team play together as one. My freshman year of high school I was the only freshman selected to the Varsity team and I have been on Varsity every year since then. Outside of school and sports I attend Saint Matthew Church and have participated in the youth choir since the third grade. Over the past few years I also helped out at our Church with the Bible Camp as a music counselor over the summer. During the summer, I have also helped those who run the Religious Education prepare for the next session of classes to begin and I have been a substitute catechist and taught classes. In addition, since my Freshman year, I have played soccer for Brien McMahon as a goalie and been on Varsity since my sophomore year.
