Hello Coaches,
My name is Anna Rasmussen from Fairfield, CT. I attend The Taft School where I am a boarding student. I chose to leave the nest early in order to challenge myself both academically and athletically in a more independent setting. Through my choice of attending High School away from home I have further grown to appreciate new challenges such as debating politics while keeping an open mind.
Instead of fearing away from challenges, I attack them with full force. If I am worried about a test, paper, and/or project I take it upon myself to ask others for help. In return, I have found this method to challenge me to become a better person. I use this same mentality while playing softball. If I am in a slump, I will remain focused on the task at hand, because I understand how one player's negative energy can bring down an entire team. I stay positive not only for myself, but for my teammates.
~Never Rest until your Good is Better and your Better is Best~
Warm Regards,
-Anna Rasmussen
