Gabrielle Cubbage '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10" athletic softball player from Felton, DE. I have been a starter on Varsity for my high school team since Freshmen year and a starter short stop on my travel team. My GPA is 3.5 and a member of the Honors Program and taking AP classes. After recieving numerous awards for All Tournament Team for USSSA for the past 4 years and in the 10U & 13U World Series, I have also recieved DIAA academic honors for GPA and athletics for the State of Delaware.I am looking for a college where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the field. The right balance would provide me an education in Sports Medicine with a focus on Athletic Training/Physical Therapy and allow me to live out my dream of playing softball in college. I have a strong , fast and accurate throwing arm which gives me an edge on the runner. I am quick on my feet running, stealing and fielding. I strive to elevate the game to the highest level. I believe my best fit would be at the DI or DII level, although I would consider high academic DIII opportunities.
