Thank you for taking the time to review my profile!
My name is Kate Lovett and I am a rising Junior at Saint Mark's High School in Newark Delaware. I just finished my high school season where our team went 17-3 and made it to the quarterfinals of the state tournament. I was honored by the coaches in our conference with a selection for First Team All-Conference for outfield. This was my third year as a starting Varsity player and the second time I was selected as First Team All-Conference. I am looking forward to my upcoming Fall season with my new travel team, Team North Carolina - Hinde 18u.
I have been playing club softball for 8 years starting in 8U and club soccer for 8 years starting in 7U. I also played basketball, soccer and softball while I was in middle school at Ursuline Academy. In my 8th grade year I was fortunate to be picked to play Varsity softball for Ursuline's high school team. I started in center field and was the lead off hitter for the team. At the end of the season, the coaches in the Catholic Conference honored me with 1st Team All-Conference honors! After transferring to Saint Marks High School, I earned the starting centerfield spot for my Freshman and Sophomore years. I was again selected as 1st Team All-Conference at the end of my Sophomore season. I have continued to play JV Basketball in high school.
My favorite part of playing so many sports is the friends I have been able to make. Many of them are some of my closest friends and will be for life.
Even though I enjoy being a multisport athlete my grades are the most important thing to me. I aspire to be a physician and I know that studying and preparing for that career will be hard but I am up for the challenge!
Thanks again for reviewing my profile and I hope to speak with you in the future.
