Softball is a gift.
I learn something every time I step onto the field and I am able to employ these skills in my everyday life. Playing elite level softball and volleyball has taught me responsibility, dedication, and focus as I work harder every day to get better. Struggles and challenges have imparted me with a tough skin and the mental toughness to focus on the next pitch and be prepared for the next challenge.
I challenge myself by taking all Honors classes in high school, and plan to continue on by majoring in Finance and Accounting. I’m also challenging myself to learn Spanish as a second language, because I’ve learned the better I can communicate the more powerful I will be.
