- Notes from Scout Softball Coach, Very hard to believe this kid is uncommitted almost through her Junior year. 5-tool type player with upside. Hitting for Average 3/9/2014: hit the ball extremely hard all day in ATL. has movement through the hitting zone with lower and upper body. a lot of bat speed with pull hitter type instincts. Hitting for Power 3/9/2014: strong kid with a lot of athletic ability. a little forced with the swing at times, but not an all or nothing type hitter. again, very surprised a kid like this is still on the market. Running 2.70 Home to 1B Arm 62 MPH overhand throw Fielding 3/9/2014: hard to believe this kid is unsigned almost through her junior year. very quick, very fast. could easily play any of the IF positions or OF. saw her at SS and behind the plate. very solid receiver and frames well behind the plate. strong arm, well above average carry. flys open a bit, creating some accuracy issues at times, but easily corrected.
