February 2021Personal Statement
When I was younger I tried plenty of things like dance, cheering, gymnastics. When I was 7 my dad signed me up for softball and I was very upset at the time and wasn't really looking forward to playing, but as soon as I stepped foot on the field it clicked. I've loved the sport ever since then, I've played for almost 11 years now. I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else with my life. Even though being a student athlete can be hard, softball always seems to relieve me of the stress from school. I want to continue playing at the next level because softball is all I've ever known, and it makes me who I am today.
