Personal Statement
My name is Caitlyn Cameron. Currently I am a Senior. I started playing softball in the 9th grade, and am a quick learner and very coachable. In my 9th grade year - I was able to become the DH for the team as a rookie freshman. In 10th grade, I played outfielder - mostly left field. During the off season I continue to take hitting and pitching lessons. In my Junior year, I am a starting 3rd baseman, pitcher and 1st baseman. ( a great utility player). This up coming season I’m projected to be a starting 3rd baseman and a pitcher.
My work ethic is strong. I am team leader and dedicated to my team by being one of the first ones to show up to practice and the last to leave,
I am diciplined and strive to be the best player I can be. If you are looking for a determined and dedicated player at the collegiate level, come see me play. I am on the Honor Roll and in Honors classes for my highschool career. I am in the National Honor Society. I have been in a leadership role with Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at the school level and district level. I volunteered with the City of Pensacola as an girls volleyball assistant coach . I also have volunteered at a local middle school by helping teachers in there classrooms.
