October 2013Personal Statement
I love the game of softball and my goal is to continue my playing career through college. I have played since I was 6 years old and enjoy the challenges, competition, and time with teammates. In college I plan to study business. My two primary positions are Shortstop and Center Field. My biggest defensive strengths are my speed, range and arm strength. On offense, I am a slap hitter able to execute multiple types of soft and power slaps with the ability to hit for power from both right and left. This past high school season, I started at CF as a freshman and batted #1 in the line up. I broke Chattahoochee High School's single season records for both hits (44) and average (.524), was named Offensive MVP for my varsity team and was voted All Region in Georgia's 6AAAAAA region. Outside of softball, some might say I am fun and energetic. I love to sing and draw, am very involved in my Church's youth group, and enjoy being around fiends and family.
