Personal Statement
My goal after high school is to go to the next level and attend a college that will challenge me academically and athletically; a college with an outstanding reputation that will prepare me with the knowledge and tools to pursue the career path I decide to take. I am a focused softball player, both defensively and offensively; no ball is too fast to try to attempt to catch, whether it means running to the fence to catch a foul ball or diving into the dirt to snag a grounder. When taking the field, I strive to make every play that comes my way. My main objective is to always strategize and make the best plays possible to put my team in a winning position. At the plate, I swing at pitches that work to my advantage and get me on base. I can play multiple positions; I am a team player. Most importantly I take my academics seriously with a GPA of 3.90 and will graduate with honors. To play collegiate softball one must have a combination of good grades in the classroom and be a accomplished athlete on the softball field. Through many years of hard work in the classroom and countless hours of practice in my backyard and on the field, I feel I have attained this winning combination and would be an excellent college softball recruit choice.
