I've played softball since the year 2006, and ever since I've been in love. I do other sports (including volleyball, cheerleading, and martial arts), but softball is most definitely my favorite. I wish to softball throughout my college years because I love it so much. I just love it so much. Softball is the thing that defines me. It literally makes me well me.
I play first base, but honestly I can play where ever I'm needed ( except for 2nd base or catcher). When I first started playing softball I was moved all around the field so I have a good understanding of how to play each position. I even know how to pitch ( I'm alright, not the best pitcher... I just to work on it more and keep practicing). I am a very competitive player, but I do know how to be a good sport and have a good attitude and I always give the game my all.
I try very hard to have really good grades. My grades are also important to me. I just as hard in school as I do on the diamond. I am on the literary team, and Spanish club at my school, and I also participate in my school's drama program because I love to sing and act. This past summer, I even went to UNG and learned to speak Russian for three weeks, and learned about military careers, and other law careers.
The thing that seperates me from other players is that I can switch which arms I use. I am mainly a lefty, but I can switch to throw and bat with my right hand (which I don't normally do, but I have done it before), and also I am a left-handed first base men, and there is not many of us. I just love this sport so much and really want to play it for as long as I can.
