Personal Statement
My name is Eryn Lee and I am very passionate about the game of softball. I know the game and have played since I was 5 years old. I knew from the start I did not want to be a ballerina like my mom wanted me to be. Softball is the perfect fit for me. On the field, I am dedicated, focused, and committed to my team. I believe that we win as a team and lose as a team; therefore, I always give my best.
My greatest asset is my speed. I believe this is what makes me stand out from other recruits. I also bat from the R and, recently started slap hitting. This has opened up a new door for me on offense. I am learning to read the defense and execute plays that are beneficial for my team. I enjoy being a threat at the plate! My defense is also very good. I'm often told that I have a "great glove".
My goal is to play softball on a competitive level while getting my college education. When it comes to choosing a college, I am open to many different options. However, my first priority is to receive a great education from whichever institute I choose. I have been taught to be very serious about my academics and I consider them very important. I am undecided on a major but I believe I would like to study something in the medical field.
Softball has truly been a blessing to me. I have traveled to many different places and met a lot of great friends that I hope to keep in contact with over my life time. I've learned a ton of valuable lessons too. I pray that I get the chance to continue doing what I love on a bigger stage.
