Personal Statement
Hi, My name is Lacey Fritz. I am a 6'0 catcher who can also play first base. I attend Woodland High School in Cartersville, GA. I have played on the varsity softball team all three years of high school and have received many awards, such as All County, All Region, and All State Honorable Mention. Woodland High competes in the 7A-AAAA region and will be moving up to AAAAA next season. I lettered in basketball my Freshman and Sophomore years, but did not play my junior year so I could focus on my college recruiting for softball. I am participating in track this year for the first time. I love to workout and lift weights. I workout to the Insanity program and run for my cardio workouts. I have a lot to offer my college team when given a chance. I am very coachable and have great leadership skills. I lead by example and work hard to improve my performance most every day. I want to play at the highest competition level possible for me and make an immediate impact on the team. If I am catching, playing first, or DP, I just want to make a difference with my team. I also work extremely hard at keeping my grades up. I take challenging classes and study hard to maintain a 3.83 unweighted GPA. In closing, I just want to say that I love the game of softball and can't wait to play in college!
