I was born in Wiesbaden, Germany when my Dad was stationed there while in the Army. We moved to Maryland where I first played T-Ball and Basketball. When we moved to Georgia, I started playing Soccer, but wanted to get back to my true love of Softball. I have always been athletic and had a passion for sports. Having to move often helped me be more open to change on and off the field. One of my first coaches taught me it takes no talent to give one hundred percent effort and that has stuck with me to this day. No one person is bigger than the game so I believe that every player should have dedication and motivation while in the dugout and on the field.
I have a desire to help people that has lead me to study Forensics or Criminal Justice. I also have a passion for Art, so I am looking for a school that will allow me the opportunity to pursue both areas. I am open to playing for schools at any level as long as I am being challenged to better myself.
I am a Christian and enjoy spending time at church and with my family. I volunteer in the nursery at my church in the toddler room. This has taught me to lead by example and not just to motivate with words only. I try hard to inspire my teammates with my work ethic not only in softball but in life as well.
Softball has brought out my competitive side pushing me to do things I have never thought I could do. It has helped to strengthen confidence in my own abilities and become more open on a social level. Through this I have been able to connect with girls that have become more than just teammates but family. I look forward to the challenges and experiences that lie ahead helping me grow into an even better softball player and person.
