Personal Statement
As an athlete, living in a small community gave me an opportunity to play in a club softball team. These past 3 years in high school I've been discovering what I am most passionate about. I enjoy playing volleyball, basketball and, softball. I have found that I am more dedicated to softball and I love the game. The beginning of summer 2017 is when I had the chance to travel with the Hawaii Pearls Club Softball team. I was able to show college coaches what I can bring to the table on and off the field. The experience I gained with my travel team also gave me a good idea about the competition out there and what kind of player I am. I've learned many things about commitment, dedication and the drive to do better. I like pushing my teammates and encouraging them because it gives me the motivation to work even harder. The reason why I want to play college softball is to prove that I am a strong and a dedicated player.
More importantly, my education is as important as playing softball. I plan to attend college and major in the nursing field. I would love to be given the opportunity and consideration to play for any colleges anywhere.
