October 2014Personal Statement
I have love for the game of softball. I always have and ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to play in college. I always practice to my full ability because I believe that if you practice hard you will play hard. I love when coaches tell me what I am doing wrong or things that I can improve on so I learn and get better. I try to be a leader and stay positive and lead by example. I believe having fun but staying serious an important part of the game.
I find academics are very important. Keeping good grades are one of my top goals. I study really hard to keep a good grade point average. These dedications to my athletics and academics will keep me a head in life.

- I started at a young age of playing tournaments. I played for a couple of teams before I started playing with the Firecrackers. I have played with the Tigerhawks 10uB 2010, Liberty Fast pitch 12uC 2011, Firecrackers 12uC 2012, Firecrackers 14uC 2013, Firecrackers 14uB 2014, Firecrackers 16uB 2014. I subbed on Pride as an 8th grader I pitched two shutouts in the Iowa games on a 18U team. I have also subbed on Central Iowa explosion.

- I have many metals from races in track and cross country. I was awarded by my track team most in proved runner and on my cross country team mvp.

- I got to start every game and played rarely sat. I played point guard and wing.

- As an 8th grader I was pulled up to start JV and to back up varsity pitching. I got the first team win for JV and varsity. I started at least 6 six games as varsity my 8th grade year, as a freshman I started every regular season game.
