I am interested in playing college softball because I love being part of a team and have worked hard at becoming a good player. I started playing softball competitively a little later than some of the girls in my area and have worked hard to overcome that time difference. That has paid off because I am currently the starting catcher for the 2nd year at my high school as a junior and on the top 16U level team in my city.
I work hard in the classroom too and have achieved all A's and B's during my high school classes while playing several sports including volleyball, bowling, and softball and working a few nights a week. I want to get a good education in college to prepare me for the future.
I try to always have a positive attitude and am one of the emotional leaders on my teams. I have been in several roles on the teams I have been on and my coaches have complimented me on being a good teammate.
