Mia Croswell '17 Recruiting Profile

My goals in college are to become a better student, find myself, learn new things and have fun.  I know it may not be what everyone else wants to do, but it's what i want and i will achieve my goals. I will do this by staying focused and never giving up.  As for the part about softball, i think I'd make a great candidate for your team because I have a great attitude towards everything.  If I or someeone else makes a mistake, I encourage them to get the next one.  I believe softball is a game of failure.  To win though, we must fail less than the other team.  I also think i can contribute to your team because I am a triple threat.  I can slap, hit, or bunt.  I can get from home to first in 2.8 seconds. My current travel softball team is the Illinois Outlaws.   I believe I can do a lot for your team.  I don't ask for much, just to have fun, win games and be able to play my heart out.  I am different from many people because yes, i care about winning, but if we don't win as a team, i don't think of it as a win.  A team works together and picks each other up.  If that isn't happening then i believe that it's just a bunch of girls playing softball together.  I love playing on teams because it makes me happy.
