Personal Statement
My name is Morgan Haefling, I am in the class of 2019, I am 5’7, I am 115 lbs, I sprint to 1B in 2.72 seconds and I want to play ball! For me softball is a family affair because I am the oldest of five kids in a family of seven. Softball has been a big part of my life ever since the day I picked up a ball. There is not a day that goes by that I am not throwing a softball, football, shooting a basketball, hitting, riding a bike, or going for a run. I love being active and getting better. I love playing softball because of the competition, the challenge, and the fun. My favorite part of the game is practice. Practicing drills, practicing with friends, and competing with others at practice.
I have been successful in balancing school, good grades, and sports, and I want to carry this over into college. I am open to playing at any collegiate level as long as it is a good fit for me. I want to play ball, be competitive, and get better. My goal is to play college softball and get the opportunity to play the game I love with a team of girls who see the game the way I do and play with the same level of passion and dedication.
