I am a 5'5” catcher (2B + OF) from Shiloh, Il. I am a Senior at O'Fallon Township High School (OTHS) and will graduate in the year 2020. In my Freshman year, I started at Catcher for JV, and played on the Varsity Team; however, I was limited to serving as Courtesy Runner on Varsity since I broke my finger early into the season. In my Sophomore year, I started on Junior Varsity and Varsity. This last school season was humbling. Unfortunately I acquired an elbow injury that required surgery in late June. I had my ulnar nerve relocated and an internal brace was put on my ligament to tighten it. I am recovering fast and I should be back to playing softball by the end of October. I will definitely be better by the time my school spring season starts.
I'm looking to attend a medium to a large sized school. I am open to most regions of the country, except Hawaii and Alaska. I want to be able to help a team and pursue a criminal justice/criminology or Law degree, or possibly go Biology/Pre-Med. I would like to play either DIII, DII, or DI.
My coaches have always told me that I'm very coachable, because I do what they ask me to do. I am most proud of my 2016-2017 travel team season with the Tomahawks. I caught in every game with over 227 innings and did not have a single passed ball. I also led my team in fielding percentage, along with having the second-best batting average (.512). In the fall of 2018 before I hurt my arm, I was probably playing the best softball I've played--and I am ready to get back on the field again as soon as I am cleared.
