Personal Statement
From the moment that I played my first game at just six years old, I fell in love. In love with the field, the feeling of success and hard work, and most of all the feeling of competing against the best. This amazing game has taught me how to be humble and know that what I do doesn't have to be recognized by others to pay off. I see the growth in my skills, I see the progress of my game-play, and I see my future as a collegiate softball player.
Academically, I was accepted into the National Honors Society. School is my number one priority and softball second. I believe a student-athlete should demonstrate both their success in a classroom as well as on the field. Both are extremely important and I strive to balance them as best as I know how. At the collegiate level I hope to find a school that holds their student-athletes to the morals I have. As a four time captain, including high school and travel ball I know I am a confident, loud, encouraging person to have on your field!
