My name is Scout Duplaga. I live in Noblesville, Indiana where I attend Noblesville High school. I am in the 2022 graduating class and my primary positions on the field are catcher and third base. I have an overhand throwing velocity of 62 mph and a pop time of 1.81. I work very hard to improve every aspect of what I do in softball whether its on or off the field, and I strive to get better every single time I step on and off the field. I am a competitive player and I always drive my teammates to do their best along with myself. I give everything I have with softball and nothing less, along with school. I maintain a 3.48 GPA and always work my hardest to improve that. I am a power hitter who can hit to all corners of the field. One of my favorite parts about the game is hitting. I love taking long relaxed and big swings and I always strive for the best hits, I believe you should always walk up to the plate thinking you will hit a home run rather just making contact and getting on base. I have a 72 mph exit velocity when hitting and I’m only looking for improvement. My goal is to go to a smaller D1 school for college softball and after college I would love to pursue coaching a team of my own. I understand that none of those things are achievable without the hard work and dedication I am more than willing to put in. I train 5 days a week plus practices with my 14u travel ball team. I currently play for the Indiana Mustangs 04’ A team. I am always focused in the classroom and on the field. The game of softball has changed me in such a good way. I have met so many incredible people, players and coaches and I wouldn’t trade this game for the world. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
