Peyton Renzi Skil...Personal Statement
I am a 5'4", 135 lb middle infielder and outfielder from Blue Valley Southwest in Overland Park, Kansas. I have started every game for my high school team at shortstop. In addition to being a two-time, First Team All-EKL Infielder selection, I was also selected as a Second Team All 5A State Infielder as a freshman. I was also named the defensive player of the year by my team as a sophomore, and offensive player of the year as a freshman. I run a 2.7-2.8 home to first. I currently have a 3.5 GPA and scored a 23 on the ACT (which I will be retaking soon).
I want to find a college that has a great mix of academics and athletics. I also want to find a school that I can come in and make a positive contribution to my team. I haven't decided on a major yet, but I am committed and focused in the classroom.
