Aleeya Adkins '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Aleeya Adkins and I'm a 16-year-old attending Greenup County High School as a junior. One of my main goals is to attend college and play softball along the way. I've been playing varsity softball since the 8th grade at my high school. As the seasons go by I can tell a more mental and physical difference within my life as a softball player. This year throughout the summer I played on the 16u travel team named the Southern Ohio Vipers. So far 16u travel ball is my favorite because the there is such a high level of competition between all the players and teams. I love competition I have always been known to be really competitive by my family, friends, and my teammates which I love.

When it comes to choosing what college I would like to attend my options can be big. I won't be difficult with choosing a college as long as I am able to get an education and have the great opportunity to play softball as well. I would like to attend at a college that is located in the Southeastern part of the United States. I don't have a specific major, but my main options would be in the medical and veterinarian fields. This is what I have in mind now, but throughout high school my mind is likely to change.

My goals in softball are to continue starting varsity at my high school and play at college level. While playing I would like to inspire the younger softball athletes as I play. Other than this I would like to continue increasing my athletic ability; by my speed, my offense, and my defense because there I'm always encouraged to improve and strive for greatness.
