Savannah Lunsford '16 Recruiting Profile

My goals in college are to go in to dentistry for children. I love working with kids, but also love playing softball. If I have the chance to play softball in college I will always give it my all at every practice. I am willing to do whatever it takes to play softball in college. I have been playing softball since the age of 4. I have always had a love for this sport. I've never quit a team for any reason at all. I have never once thought about quitting softball. Other than my grades at school and my family, softball is my whole life. Everyday that I can, I play. I absolutely love it! I am able to throw the ball  from a 200ft fence to home plate in one bounce. I have very good accuracy when I'm throwing. Also I have had a high batting average since the age of 9, I rarely ever get out when I bat, and almost always get on base. I'm not afraid of sliding or taking risk when running or stealing a base. Softball is everything to me and I'd love to play in college.
