Paige Toothaker '17 Recruiting Profile

Playing in college has always been a dream of mine. I have put many hours of blood, sweat and tears into practicing to be the best that I can be to accomplish this goal. I have always wanted to follow in the footsteps of my father from a very young age. He was also a pitcher, who played at UMass Amherst. He puts a lot of time and effort into helping me be the best i can be, shaping me into the player I am today. I have played softball my whole life and could not picture my life without it.  I am a hard-working, dedicated teammate.  I am the player that will get to practice a little early just to make sure I'm not late. I have been given the opportunity to play for so many wonderful teams and meet new people and create amazing friendships I never thought were possible thanks to this sport and I hope the opportunities continue. Softball has always been a top priority in my life, especially now as I grow up and prepare for college. 

I am a well-rounded student. I participate in National Honor Society as NHS treasurer, National Art Honor Society,  and Art Club. I take most honors and AP classes maintaining a high GPA.
