Personal Statement

Greetings Coach,

I am Ashley J. Challenger, the student athlete, playing OF for the Horents out of Clinton, MD and Bowie Blue Jays for travel ball. I attend North Carolina A & T State University.

I'm very interested and excited to study and play at the next level. Therefore, I want to introduce myself and give you some information about my athletic and academic backgrounds.

My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sports I love at a higher competition level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and to little girls. Knowing at the end of the day that I made a difference and tried my hardest while keeping a smile on my face.

Softball Showcase / Prospect Camp - College Softball Prospects

The College Coaches Skills Camp will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia. College Coaches Skills Camp is designed for high school softball players that want to work directly with college coaches in an on field environment. The event is for those players who are focused on becoming college softball student-athletes or want to learn more about that process. The camp will feature quality instruction from college coaches, verbal evaluations provided by the coaching staff through drills & instruction, and a Discussion on College Athletics for both players and parents. The College Softball Prospects Camp and Showcase is open to all high school softball players and is restricted in enrollment. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1. These camps are in compliance with all NCAA rules.
