My name is Gabrielle K. Cuevas, I’m 17 years old, and 5’1. I am a hard working student and athlete that gives all of my effort to achieve any goal. I give 100% in anything that I do and am passionate about. My education has always been my first priority but so has sports yet I understand that without my education I can’t move forward in life or sports. I am an AB average student with a 3.4-3.7 GPA. I'm a utility player and enjoy the fact that I can be placed anywhere a coach requires or needs me to be. My main positions are pitcher and outfield (Mainly Center-field).
I made the junior varsity team freshman year and by the end of the year I was pulled up to the varsity team. I learned a lot and experienced the type of work, effort, and dedication it takes not only to stay on the varsity team but work toward to goal of playing at a college level. I have great attitude and strive to stay positive at all times. I listen and take criticisms well. I take good and bad feed and apply that to my coaches’ expectations. I consider myself a smart student, a loud positive cheerleader in the dugout, a strong athlete that lifts the team up when we are down but not out. I work hard and never become complacent, this attitude has benefited not only in softball but in life; I handle change very well.
My short term goals are to continue further in my education and softball skills throughout high school. I plan to attend college and I would like the opportunity to play softball in college. Currently, I see myself majoring in Businesses Administrative Management. I appreciate your time and consideration.
