Personal Statement

I started playing softball when I was in first grade. In one of my very first games, my coach put me in as a pitcher and that's when my whole journey began. I knew I wanted to be a pitcher and fell in love with the game and want to succeed in college softball. I began pitching lessons at the age of 8 years old. I used to play soccer and basketball but decided to focus only on softball in my sophomore year.  Softball has impacted me as an overall player and person. The game has impacted me by overall communication and the hard work and dedication that is needed to succeed. I've realized throughout the years how much softball has taught me life lessons on and off the field. I am a dedicated player and love the team bonding and what it feels like being apart of a team. I think what sets me apart from all other players is my ability to play in all positions when needed and my positive attitude. School doesn't come easy to me but I am a hard worker and try my best everyday. I have  been on honor roll for the majority of my high school years. My goal for after high school is to attend college and major in Nursing.
