Personal Statement

I am dedicated to pursuing my dream of playing at the college level and I'm working hard to make it a reality. Off the field, I take my academics seriously and strive to learn new things, and set more goals every day, including ways I can personally stand out during my last years of high school. Balancing an academic and athletic schedule has always been a strong suit for me because it keeps me busy and content. Playing the catcher position fits my personality because I am a competitive leader and like to be in control. Since I am very competitive, I do not settle for anything less of my goals. To reach those goals, I like a coach that not only pushes me to succeed but guides me in the right direction of softball and in life overall.

I played in intra-camp game at the end of the camp as a catcher and 3rd baseman and had two hits, threw out an attempted basestealer and prevented a run from scoring while catching with a tag on a runner from a throw from the outfield.
