Rachel Johnson '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a composed, confident, and focused 5'10," 130 lb pitcher from Preston, Maryland. I have a 4.2 high school GPA and will graduate in the 2011 class. I pitch and play the infield for the Diamond State SWOOP 18u travel team, from Seaford, Delaware. On 06/27/2010, we were crowned the 2010 USSSA 18U Delaware State Champions. I was the winning pitcher and I was given a game ball. During this time, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience that will assist me at the next level. Since my freshman year, I have been a starter on the Colonel Richardson High School varsity softball team. This past year as a junior, I earned our team's Defensive Most Valuable Player award and 1st team All-Conference honors as a pitcher. As a sophmore, I earned 2nd team All-Conference honors as a pitcher. I possess a great attitude, a good work ethic, very organized, and perform well under pressure. I am looking forward to the challenges that college and college softball offers.
