Softball is an important part of my life. It has given me the opportunity to meet new people and create lasting relationships with other players and coaches. I love the personal challenge to become a better player as well as the competition between teams.
Softball is more than just a game. It has taught me how to handle failure and success. It has shown me the benefits of hard work. I have learned the value of teamwork and a “team first” mentality. I know that I will use these principles to benefit the college team that I join and for the rest of my life.
These are some of the values that I will bring to a college team:
· Athleticism
· Versatility
· Coachable
· Team player
· Strong work ethic
· Positive, Christian attitude
I know that I will bring a positive dynamic to my next team. I look forward to the next step of playing at the collegiate level.
