Personal Statement
I am right-handed pitcher on my high school team, Cabrini High School, as well as my travel team, the Michigan Lookouts. I have also played second base and outfield.
I am a gamer. Both mentally and physically tough. My greatest strengths are my focus and my composure in the circle and many coaches have commented on that. As a pitcher, I work extremely hard. I consistently throw 58 mph and will work to continue to increase that speed. My arsenal consists of a fastball, drop, change-up, rise and curve. I have a pitching coach, as well as a hitting coach.
My high school team won our Catholic High School League Conference and I was awarded All-League. I also received the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association (MHSSCA) All-District and All Regional and voted team MVP. We also won the MHSAA District III Championship and made it to the Regional Championship.
As a student, I’ve been on the Honor Roll since Freshman year, and I currently have a 3.4 GPA. I also play basketball, volunteer at Forgotten Harvest and perform various other volunteer services. I also taught myself to play the guitar.
To be able to contribute to the success of a collegiate softball program and develop lasting friendships, all while receiving an excellent education would be an incredible experience. It's an opportunity to grow as an athlete, and as a person. It's an opportunity that should never be taken for granted. It's an opportunity I'm ready for and will continue to work hard for.
I am interested in Graphic Design, Advertising, Music Management/Entertainment or Sport Management.
