Alejandra Murphy '16 Recruiting Profile

I like to aspire to be the best I can possibly be. I push hard and I give 110% in every practice, in every game, and in every tournament. I look for ways to improve myself and my teammates. My teammates mean the most to me on the field. I think it is very important to have a team to pick each other up and if no one on my team is doing that, I step up and encourage others to keep trying and that they'll get it next time. Because I always looks for ways to improve, I am coachable. I don't see a reason to be doing something wrong and have a coach correct it and I keep doing it wrong. I won't improve in anyway if I ignore my coach's instruction. I strive to be leader when a leader is needed. I try my hardest to help my teammates improve. When they aren't hitting very well, I will watch them swing and tell them what I think they should do to improve. As I try to better myself in athletics, I work hard to advance myself in academics as well. I work hard to increase my ability or knowledge in every aspect of my life.
