Personal Statement
My goal for the future is to play softball at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in Psychology. This will later set me up on a career path to become an Orthopedic Physician's Assistant. I am a very well-rounded student athlete, playing on multiple softball teams while taking majority college level classes and keeping a good GPA. I fell in love with softball when I was 5, as a result of playing around with my brother, and I now have been playing for over 10 years! This sport has taught me all about hard work, teamwork, leadership, and discipline. In my opinion, my biggest strengths are my leadership skills, being able to apply corrections, and being able to overcome obstacles; One of those obstacles being an injury, that I had to apply myself and work very hard to overcome. I am an aggressive and competitive player, and I make sure to be the most supportive, uplifting, and encouraging teammate I can be. I am very versatile, and I can play multiple different positions, but I mainly stick to the left side. I make it a point to bring a positive attitude to games and practices and be an inspiring and motivating teammate no matter what.
