Makenzie Hendley '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'5" outfielder from Mankato, MN. I have started on the Mankato East Varsity team since my sophomore year but played between JV and Varsity my freshman year as well. I am a three-year varsity letter winner. Last year (2017), I was selected for the All Tournament team at the Mankato East Invite, Big 9 Conference Honorable Mention, and was also chosen to be All City.  This season (2018) I was Big 9  All Conference, selected to be All City , and Co-MVP.  I was also selected to be a 2019 captain for next season.  This season batted .365 and I led my team in RBIs (26), runs scored (25), OBP, Slg, OPS (1.23) and home runs (6) in 22 games played

My goal is to play college softball at the highest level possible. I am open to all schools at all levels and hope to have the best experience I can. I am interested in Psychology. I believe I can bring positivity to a team because I always keep my head up and never give up. I am hard working and give my 100% all the time. I want to go to a school that has great team chemistry and that is competitive. I believe that I have not yet reached my full potential and have much room to grow as a player. I want to go to a school where I can make an immediate impact on the team.
