Personal Statement
Sports have always been an enormous and important part of my life. Since I started dancing at the age of two and playing softball at five, I have danced and played softball at many different levels ranging from entry tap dance to competition teams and from CYC softball to eventually select ball at the highest level in the area. Softball is now my main interest, though I still enjoy dancing, cross fit and working out with a personal trainer three times per week. The things I enjoy most about sport are the need to be dedicated, work hard to be successful, be a part of a team and push beyond each limit that presents. Sports are very demanding and challenging - like academics and eventually the workforce will be - and playing at your highest level forces you to work through tough situations and think on your feet.
My goals and aspirations include finding the best collegiate institutional match to my academic, sports and ethical values and goals and partnering to pursue those goals together. What makes me a good candidate for the right college softball team is that I sincerely believe in contributing to a team oriented mission by supporting others and valuing their strengths while bringing the best of my talents and abilities to the team.
