Personal Statement
For many years I have known what my future holds for me. I have always loved being around children. For instance, I volunteer at church and work with the three year old bible school students. Science and the human body also fascinates me. Because of those two interests I have wanted to become a pediatrician for multiple years now. I have a love for softball that only certain people have. I take every opportunity I have to induce myself in playing. For me, isn't only about being the best I can be, or competing at the highest level possible but when I'm out on the field with my family, I can't beat that feeling of love. I never get bored with my four hour practices because I want to get better. As I get older I want to keep playing because I truly love the game.
I enjoy going to school and I want to get the best education that is possible for me. School is my number one priority until the day I graduate from college. Although I also believe in balance. I believe you need time for your schoolwork, time for your family, time for your sports and time for your friends. Going to college has all of those measures and if I were able to go to school and still play softball, it would really help in providing the balance that will help me become a well rounded individual.
