Personal Statement

I have been playing softball since I was in kindergarten and after that I knew that I wanted to go to college to further my education and play softball for a D-1 college. I have devoted myself to playing, practicing, and strength and conditioning during the winter. I am 14 years old right now and when I was 13 I played on junior varsity for high school ball. This year (14 years old) I was a starter player on varsity for high school ball. My speed is fast and my time to first is 2.8s. I can slap hit left and I hit right. My main position is center field but I can play a lot more positions such as 3rd, 2nd, short stop, left, and right field. 

 

I want to go to college and major in biology, my education to me comes first. I know this will help me to do things that I want to do when I'm an adult. But playing softball while in college will be a dream come true.
