I am currently at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
My long term goal is to play collegiate softball and obtained an excellent college education at the same time. I have been playing competitive softball since I was in the 5th grade. I started for the Albany Junior High Softball team in 7th and 8th grade. In 7th grade, I started at first base and in 8th grade I was the starting pitcher. I have started on every softball team I have played for since 5th grade. I have been pitching competitively since I was in 7th grade. My fast ball is 63 mph at this time. I have five pitches at this time, fast ball, change up, drop curve, slap screw ball and rise ball. During the summer I am helping coach a 14A competitive softball team being the pitching coach which going to sports performance training 3 times a week at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, KS. Also, I am practicing softball 2-3 times a week on my own or with my hitting and pitching coach; therefore, I am practicing 4 to 6 hours a week of hitting and pitching combined. Academically, in high school I was a straight A student and graduated number 1 in my class. My academic goal is to get my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and my Master's Degree in Sports Management while playing softball all four years of eligibility.
