When I was in 7th grade, I was the starting pitcher on the junior high softball team. In 8th grade, I was the starting pitcher on an amazing junior high team who only had 2 losses. My freshman year I started at 3rd base on varsity and got to pitch a few games for the varsity team. I batted over .400 and batted in the #3 hole all season. I hit an out of the park homerun against the #1 team in the conference. On my competitive team I play 3rd base, shortstop, and pitcher. I have received several game MVP awards. At the 2010 state tournament I was awarded the all around tournament MVP. At the 2009 world series I was awarded the defensive tournament MVP. I played for competitive teams including: Inferno (Cameron, MO), GR Storm (Bethany, MO), Elite (St. Joseph, MO), and Smithville Sting (Smithville, MO). I plan to play for the Trojanettes next summer. My freshman year I did track and threw the discus. I took 2nd place in the conference for discus. My sophomore year I became a starter on the varsity basketball team. Not only was I a starter, but I was the leading scorer on the team. My highest scoring game was 33 points against our rivals, the Trenton Bulldogs. My goals for junior and senior year are to be selected to the all state teams in softball and basketball. I would like to receive academic honors too. My biggest goal for the future is to receive a scholarship to play softball in college. Softball is my passion and I love every part of the game.
