Personal Statement
Simply put, softball brings out the best in me. Since as far back as I can remember, I have loved this game. I am a hardworking, dedicated, competitive player who always strives to be a leader on and off the field. I put forth 100% in the classroom and in my personal life. My family is my guiding force.
I have been playing competitive softball since I was 8 years old. A highlight of my younger years was my team winning the Montana State Little League 10U championship. Each year, I continue to develop my skills with countless hours of off season workouts and attending multiple camps. Catching is my favorite position and I was able to attend a The New England Catching camp in Seattle a couple of years ago. Although the style of catching that is taught at this camp is a bit unusual, it has suited my style of play very well.
My freshman year, I was selected as a First Team All-State and All-Conference utility player. I was also selected as my high school's team Defensive MVP. I am very excited for my 2019 high school softball season to start as I have been selected as a captain. My other athletic passion is volleyball. I was a varsity letter earner this year in this sport as well.
My future goals and dreams are to play in a highly competitive collegiate softball program. I'm willing to do what it takes to reach my goal and fulfill my dreams.
